As the chicken slowly cooks, the flavors blend into a creamy, cheesy sauce that’s perfect for piling onto sandwiches, scooping over rice, or serving with roasted potatoes. It’s a simple crockpot dinner that tastes indulgent and satisfying.
How to Prepare:
- Place 2 pounds of chicken in your crockpot.
- Sprinkle salt to taste.
- Add 6–8 pieces of cooked bacon (or bacon bits) and 2–3 diced jalapeños over the chicken.
- Pour the contents of the seasoning packet over the mixture.
- Add ½ cup of water to the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on High for 4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked.
- During the last hour of cooking, add 1 (8 oz) block of cream cheese and sprinkle ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Stir before serving to create a rich, creamy sauce.
